Kami took my listing last summer, and I was eager to sell quickly. I appreciated her taking the time to discuss a realistic price to facilitate that. However, due to some circumstances and the slow economy, it took much longer to sell my house than anticipated. Kami, to her credit, never gave up on the listing, although many other realtors might have. Her persistence and stick-to-it attitude kept me going when I felt like giving up. I really appreciated her patience and positive attitude despite difficult circumstances. Kami is very attentive to her clients. She was always available when needed and returned phone calls promptly. That kind of professionalism is becoming unfortunately rarer these days, but Kami displayed that consistently. She never was out of touch, and would always keep me abreast of any changes. Kami was the calm during a tumultuous time – that of selling our home of 16 years during an economic recession and subsequent buyer’s market. She made sense of real estate jargon and gave helpful tips regarding staging our home, pricing, etc.. She wasn’t pushy, merely suggestive, and gave logical reasons for these. We were looking to buy our first home and wanted to live in a specific area. Kami sent us listings and was willing to meet us when we had time to go out looking. We put an offer on a home but someone else put a higher offer so we were a bit discouraged. I have a home located on a lot that will be affected by the Woodmen Rd. expansion project in less than two years and I was ready to downsize and sell the home. I was not sure how the road project would affect my property. Kami listed my property in a very diligent and professional manner and I was very pleased with her marketing efforts. We had good showing activity from the start. During the listing, Kami did extensive research on the future road project and discovered important information that I was not aware of including the fact that the city may end up having to purchase my entire property to accommodate the project. At last I had the answers I had been looking for. The information Kami discovered and the discussions we had helped me to come to the decision that it would be in my best interest to take my home off the market and explore other options until more is known about the future of my property.
